MEET the board

Greetings! My name is Ellen, the manager of AQUILO Rocket Team for 2025-2026.

Coming from the depths of rural Ireland, I am delighted to have found my place within the Aeronautical Engineering study programme in Delft. Immersing myself amongst a pool of other space enthusiasts has already been quite thrilling and has opened up another realm of possibilities for me, for which I am overjoyed. Leading AQUILO as the team’s first female manager has already proven to be incredibly rewarding and eventful. I am eager to guide and elevate the team as we progress into new areas of exploration, research and developments.

With the solid foundations built by those before, the next generation of AQUILO members and I are ready to take to the skies- and beyond! In the wise words of Star Wars: “Your focus determines your reality.” This serves a daily reminder that with vision, ambition and determination, the only limit in what we can achieve is lack of intent.
