Mission Success!

AQUILO VIII.VS Successfully relaunched last Friday!🚀

We did it again! At ASK 'T Harde our team set to relaunch a slightly modified version of AQUILO VIII.VS. The modified rocket sports a new nose cone, that is now colored pink! And made with new 3D printed material. There is also now an added feature of a on-board camera, and a change in the chute dimensions!

This launch was meant to give our newer members an opportunity to have the first-hand experience with how a rocket launch goes and hopefully prepare them more for what's to come next!

The relaunch was a huge success, and we reached an altitude of almost 1200m! Unfortunately, our main chute was not deployed, but nonetheless the rocket landed safely and we were able to recover everything. Our Recovery department is hard at work to figure out why this was the case, and we as a team will be moving forward and learning from this wonderful experience!
